More Snow Daze!!!

Yes!! I did write daze instead of days. The kids have been out of school for 4 days and tomorrow will be number 5!!! Teachers had to go in today and have to go tomorrow. Two work days!! WOW!! We really have loved being at home and the kids playing in the snow and ice. It is nice to rest and relax and nowhere to go.

Santa at The Ritz

We were invited by a sweet friend to spend the night at The Ritz and have brunch with Santa the next morning. To our surprise, Santa came to our room that night and talked to the kids. The look on their faces when they opened the door was PRICELESS!! The trip downtown was worth every penny!! Even the snow flurries as we left the hotel!

Snow Daze!!

This year I took my sister and her three girls down to Amelia Island for a week of fun!! This was a great trip with two adults and 6 kids under 9!!! It wasn't relaxing but it was fun. I love to see the cousins all play together. I hope we are making lasting memories that they will never forget. The group portraits are getting a little easier each year. When we pull out all the white clothes they all know what we are planning!! Such sweet memories!!

Every year we spend time together with Matt's family on Memorial Day! The guys and MeMe all go play golf together and the wives and kids all go to the Georgia Club pool for some fun!! I love making memories and lasting traditions!!

A Year of Change

It has been a long time since I updated this blog. A year ago I was starting a new adventure. I went back to teaching first grade. I had been home with my children for nine years. It was a huge change in my life. I think next to parenting, it was the hardest and most challenging thing I have done in my life. My year year was rewarding and memorable!!
